I seem to have a bad case of the munchies this week.... so let's continue with another favorite crunchie munchie of mine, Taco Dip!
Oh yum! This is always a crowd pleaser around The Manor, and there are lots of variations on this oldie but goodie, so feel free to use your own recipe.
Just be sure to use a pastry bag or squeeze bottle with a narrow tip, to add the sour cream (or Greek yogurt is quite delish!) to form the cute spider web.
One of the things about making this dip, is that it's so easy to accomidadte a small crowd or a large one, just adjust the size of the serving dish. (And the amount of your ingredients, accordingly)
If you're looking for a good (and super fast) Taco Dip recipe, here's one right from The Queen:
Get your favorite baking dish or cooking tray.... start with a layer of black beans (or refried beans, which ever you prefer), then add a layer of shredded lettuce, a layer of salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, and a thin layer of guacamole, to top it off.
Bake in the oven at 300 degrees for about 15 minutes (or until the cheese is melted), remove from the oven to cool for a few minutes.
Then to add the finishing touch, the sour cream spider web.... add your favorite tortilla chips (blue corn for me!) and it's ready to serve to your guests!.... or victims, which ever you prefer.
