HAUNT YOUR HOUSE

With the Halloween season getting closer, you really need to think of creative ways to haunt your house for the big day! How fun are these wispy ghosts?

All you need is some white mesh fabric, white balloons, black acrylic paint, rubber bands, craft needles, white thread and clear fishing line.

Blow up the balloons and paint spooky faces on them with the acrylic paint, let dry. Then wrap 4 long pieces of the mesh (several different lengths to make wispy effect) around the balloon to form ghosts. Tie rubber bands at the base of the neck, cover and secure with white yarn or thread. (secure it so it doesn't show too much)

Using the fishing line, make a knot and push through the mesh at the top (the "head" of your ghost) and hang from branch. Then on the underside make another knot in another long piece of fish line, and push up to form the "arms" of the ghost. Repeat on the other side. Hang from tree branches. BOO!

FLOWER POWER

Halloween is one of America’s most popular decorating holidays and you can include the garden and find plenty of plants that fit the bill. From Pan-American Seed’s Trick Or Treat Mix black and orange pansies to Purple Majesty ornamental millet, Peek-A-Boo spilanthes and mums, lots of plants complement the pumpkins, scarecrows and other Halloween decorating items sold in garden centers!

HALLOWEEN FABRICS

It's definitely that time of year. The Halloween goodies are getting up on the shelves, so now's the time to grab 'em! The craft stores are filled to the rafters with Halloween fabrics, so it might be time to make some new pillows, maybe some new spooky curtains and tablecloths! The possibilities are endless!

CREATIVE CANDY CONTAINERS

Isn't this a cute idea for Halloween candy? I think they would so cute hanging around the front door, ready for trick or treaters!

Or I think an even better idea, would be to make a Halloween tree (place large branches in a container) and hang the jars from the branches. This way, if you have any guests that pop by, they can help themselves to a sweet treat!

ORANGE & BLACK

I've always loved the black and orange color combination, and during the month of October I try and wear it as much as I can. Do you have a hot date for a Halloween party? Or maybe you're not the costume type. Maybe it's "A Girl's Night To Howl" and you and the girls are gonna go out for cocktails, instead of taking the kids trick or treating! Well, add a few of these accessories to your favorite little back dress and you'll keep in the Halloween spirit!

I don't know about you, but I get so tired of the same old bat earrings and plastic skulls necklaces for Halloween jewelry. How about something pretty and shiny? These are so pretty, you could wear them all year long. I looooooove these bright colors! Check out all these baubles and beads, all the better, for Halloween!

If you're going all out this Halloween with your costume, and you're thinking of something Gothic and fabulous, be sure to top it off with an amazing hat!
